Bryan Kimsey – Instrument Doctor

Bryan Kimsey has been working on guitars since the late 90’s. He was Kamp Doctor at Steve Kaufman’s Acoustic Music Camp 9x and Gerald Jones’ Acoustic Music Camp 3x. Bryan has been on the cover of Tone Quest Report twice, in Vintage Guitar magazine, was a contributing editor for Flatpicking Guitar magazine for 15 years, and is very active on the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum. He also has a YouTube channel with over 500 videos and has given many playing and luthier workshops. His specialty is 1970’s Martin D’s but he’s totally comfortable doing setups, fret jobs, and misc repairs on mandolins and banjos, too. Bryan is a 1982 graduate of SPC’s country/bluegrass music program.
